Our Association has recurring annual expenses for insurance and archival maintenance, in addition to sponsorships that ensure money is not an obstacle for reunion or funeral attendance.
Our annual maintenance expenses include BOP/Liability, D&O, and Umbrella Insurance; a Virginia storage unit; and technology expenses that consist of electronic archives, database hosting, and accounting software.
In addition, we generally spend between $1,000 to $3,000 per funeral for travel sponsorships. The board would like to raise $10,000 per year on an ongoing basis to cover these expenses.

Are contributions tax deductible?
Contributions to Georgetown Chimes Alumni Association, Inc. are not tax deductible.
What is the Donor Guild? Can I adjust my Guild membership if circumstances change?
The Donor Guild is a way to support the Association with a recurring monthly or annual donation.
You can always manage your Guild membership through the Stripe portal. It lets you upgrade/downgrade, pause, or cancel your recurring donation and update your payment information. We can also do this for you on our end. Just drop us a line.
What is the best way to give?
Whatever is most convenient for you! That said, if you want to make sure your contributions go the furthest, the bank debit option via Stripe has the lowest fees on our side.
